Job description

To Provide World Famous Friendly Customer Service to Customers, Team Members & Outside Vendors. Verify the Accuracy of Cost & Retails of all Merchandise Received. Maintain Constant Pricing Accuracy of All Items on Display Throughout Store.

Essential Job Functions: 

  • Create a "team" atmosphere among department and co-workers.
  • Motivate, coach & direct team members.
  • Accurately count & verify all merchandise received and credited out.
  • Accurately account for all unsaleable products.
  • Accurately document all credit returns and follow up on credits owed.
  • Verify cost & retails on products received.
  • Balance purchase reports daily & weekly.                    
  • Organize & clean backrooms and walk-ins.
  • Hang & apply all price changes.
  • Maintain accurate prices on all displays.
  • Maintain accurate inventories as depicted in the systems utilized. (CT2020)
  • Abide by all company policies as stated in the employee handbook.

Knowledge Skills Needed:

  • World famous friendly attitude with customers & team members
  • Ability to read case labels and shelf tags
  • Ability to manage time effectively.
  • Ability to multi-task & perform all tasks with a sense of urgency.
  • Ability to accurately utilize 10 key calculators.
  • Ability to accurately read tags & invoices.
  • Ability to accurately count, add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel.
