Job description

We are seeking a compassionate, Filipino/Tagalog-speaking caregiver to support our Plano/Allen Senior adult clients in their homes. Many of our clients specifically request caregivers who understand their language and culture - your skills make a real difference! Language requirement:
✔️ Tagalog / Filipino(required)
✔️ English (basic to conversational)

Qualifications :

  • Speaks Tagalog and understands cultural nuances.

  • Prior caregiving experience (family or professional), preferably in a healthcare setting.

  • Warm, patient, dependable, and kind-hearted.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.

  • CNA, HHA, or PCA a plus (not required).


Responsibilities:

  • Provide companionship and emotional support.

  • Follow the client's plan of care to deliver personal care services as assigned.

  • Help with mobility and transferring clients safely from bed to chair, etc.

  • Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation.

  • Offer culturally respectful, language-matched care.

  • Report any changes in the client’s condition to the healthcare team or family.

  • Maintain accurate records of care provided.

  • Comply with CareBuilders at Home policies/procedures.

  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

  • Communicate updates with family and care team.
