The chosen candidate will collaborate with numerous teams for sales and marketing support, reporting and analysis. This individual will participate in a wide array of marketing and sales projects. Prior experience with product management within a manufacturing setting is a huge plus.

Product Specialists at Flexco can expect starting compensation of between $71,000.00 and $89,000.00, or more, depending on skills, education and experience.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field required
  • Product Manager certification will be a huge plus
  • Minimum of 2 years of product management/support experience
  • Exposure to ERP and PLM systems
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Power Point, and data extraction
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong self-motivational skills required
  • Comfort with up to 30% travel with potential for international
  • Occasionally exposed to elements such as dust, heat, and/or cold during customer visits
  • Strong mechanical aptitude - Qualification essential
  • Financial and sales analysis skills
  • Strong technical and commercial understanding of product lines and industries being supported.

What you will be doing:

  • Conduct site visits and engage with customers to gather VOC (Voice of Customer) to assist with the development of the Marketing Specification for new products.
  • Maintain competitive database that assesses competitive landscape, including market size, competitive share, understanding of the SWOT of the competition.
  • Assists with the creation and execution of product launch marketing materials for designated product category, ensuring alignment across content, packaging, digital updates, and promotional opportunities.
  • Reviews and updates existing marketing collateral to ensure content is current and is aligned with our brand and strategy.
  • Provide/gather subject matter expertise and work with Marketing Communication team to develop technical support materials, including IOMs and videos.
  • Generate various marketing related reports and analysis.
  • Provide various tactical support, including generation of quotes and samples
  • Provide tactical support to assist with marketing requirements for sales and ops support.
  • Participate in product line continuous improvement activities
  • In some cases, complete ownership of a particular product or product class. Includes strategy development, pricing recommendations, new product development, and tactical support.
  • Provide insights and data to support product strategy and strategic initiatives.
  • P&L: Develop general understanding of P&L and assist with analysis and initiatives to improve performance.
