Job description

Description

We are seeking an experienced Special Reconnaissance (SR) Instructor / Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support Special Warfare and Special Tactics training programs. The selected candidate will provide qualification training for Combat Controller (CCT), Special Reconnaissance (SR), Tactical Air Control Party (TACP), and Pararescue (PJ) personnel. The instructor will deliver specialized expertise and skillsets required to support the SR career field training pipeline and administer Mission Qualification Training (MQT) for Special Tactics operators. 

Requirements

  1. Special Tactics operator and graduate of the USAF Special Reconnaissance Course, or, 5 years' current SR experience in SOF sister service and a graduate of one of the following courses: USAF Special Reconnaissance (SR) Course, Reconnaissance and Surveillance Leaders Course (RSLC), Reconnaissance Team Leader Course (RTLC), MARSOF Technical Surveillance Cyber Course (MTSCC).
  2. Capable of providing dive supervisor duties for student proficiency, safety, and upgrade training.
  3. Capable of providing rope-master duties during mock tower and actual aircraft training for safe student training.
  4. Capable of performing small/large maritime duties and open-water swimming to support amphibious operations training.
  5. Capable of flying infil/exfil with students into and out of field training exercises via any military fixed/rotary wing aircraft.
