Extracts knowledge and insights from high volume, high dimensional data in order to investigate complex business problems through a range of data preparation, modeling, analysis and/or visualization techniques to create solutions| Retrieves, analyzes and summarizes business, operations or customer data in order to develop business intelligence, optimize effectiveness and/or predict business outcomes | Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns and prepares ongoing reports and data visualizations in order to support business decisions | Typically uses dedicated business intelligence applications and/or cloud services (e.g.,PowerBI, Tableau), but may also leverage the reporting capabilities of existing ERP, CRM and/or database software vendors (e.g., Oracle BI &/or Salesforce)

  • Provides management and analysis of business data for use in decision making and organizational efficiency improvement initiatives.
  • Aggregates and performs statistical analysis on business data based on requests from project teams or senior leadership.
  • Integrates data from multiple data sources or functional areas, ensures data accuracy and integrity, and updates data as needed.
  • Writes queries or reports to provide data for various analytical projects.
  • Interprets data to identify business trends, conduct root cause analysis of business problems, or suggest areas for process improvement.
  • Provides guidance, coaching, and/or mentoring to less experienced team members.

      • Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 2-4 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
      • Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

      • Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree
      • Discipline/Major: Information Technology or other Technical degree preferred.
      • Knowledge, skills & abilities: Oral and written communication skills. Computer skills. Mathematical skills. Analytical thinking skills. Statistical knowledge. Problem-solving skills.

      • Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
      • Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
