Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Tablet Reporting Patrol in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential community, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for residents and visitors. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate professionally, and provide exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, access-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential common areas, building entrances, parking areas, amenities, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
  • Monitor access points and observe visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Document incidents, observations, patrol activities, and policy violations in clear and accurate reports, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
