You will design, develop, and maintain business intelligence solutions that transform complex data into actionable insights.Working closely with project teams and client stakeholders, you will gather requirements, develop data models, and deliver dashboards that support broader analytics and digital transformation initiatives. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. This is a full-time, on-site position.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop Power BI semantic models, dashboards, and paginated reports aligned to client requirementsBuild and optimize DAX measures, Power Query (M) transformations, and row-level securityEngage with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate functional needs into technical specifications and scalable data modelsBuild SSRS reports and contribute to SSAS tabular model development as part of broader BI architecturesDevelop and maintain ETL processes using SSIS, Power Query, Azure Data Factory, or similar tools, including data profiling and quality validationDevelop KPIs and performance metrics to support operational and strategic decision-makingPerform testing, validation, performance tuning, and support user acceptance testing (UAT)Manage assigned tasks and workstreams across concurrent client engagements, proactively communicating progress, risks, and blockersDemonstrate ownership of assigned deliverables, ensuring quality, timeliness, and alignment with client expectationsParticipate in client-facing meetings, demos, and walkthroughs, presenting solutions clearly and professionallyProduce clear, well-structured documentation including data dictionaries, technical designs, and user guidesContribute to internal best practices, reusable assets, and continuous improvement initiativesQualifications/Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or a related field2-4 years of experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports required.Previous experience designing and developing Power BI semantic models, dashboards, and paginated reports aligned to client needs strongly requiredStrong experience with DAX, Power Query (M), and semantic data modelingSolid understanding of star schema and tabular modeling principlesHands-on experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS or equivalent data integration technologies, required.Strong SQL / T-SQL skills, including joins, aggregations, and performance tuningExperience working with large datasets and multiple data sourcesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective written and verbal communication skillsAdditional Requirements / SkillsMicrosoft certifications such as PL-300, or progress toward DP-500 / DP-600Experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Direct Lake)Familiarity with Azure data services (Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Lake)Experience with Git-based version control and deployment pipelinesExposure to additional BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, Oracle BI Publisher)Experience working with APIs (REST/SOAP) and handling JSON/XML data structures is a plusExposure to data warehousing concepts, including staging, data marts, and dimensional modellingUnderstanding of capital project, construction, or asset lifecycle data is a plusAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a consulting environmentWhat’s In It For You:Comprehensive health coverage (medical, dental, and vision)Company-paid life and disability insuranceOptional benefits like pet insurance, legal, and supplemental health plans401(k) with day-one eligibility, 3% safe harbor, plus up to 2.5% company matchGenerous time off: 10 paid holidays and PTO starting at 15 days, growing up to 25Access to Consertus Academy for continuous learning and developmentEqual Employment Opportunity Statement:Consertus is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
