Why Hershey:

At The Hershey Company, our culture is rooted in purpose and inspired by Milton Hershey's enduring vision that business should create opportunity for others. Through our commitment to corporate philanthropy, we create positive impact by supporting communities, helping children thrive, and operating as a business for good. This includes our deep and long standing partnership with Milton Hershey School, where we invest in education, workforce readiness, and hands on engagement to help students succeed beyond the classroom. Supported by strategic grantmaking, product donations, cross brand collaboration, and strong employee volunteerism, Hershey offers a place to work where making a difference-locally and globally-is part of how we do business every day.

How will you fit in the big picture?

As Manager, Business Intelligence Automation, you will help advance Hershey's automation strategy by partnering with the Growth Office, Information Systems, and business teams to deliver scalable reporting, analytics, and automation solutions.

You will create visibility and structure across the automation portfolio by aligning business priorities, managing investments, and ensuring delivery of impactful solutions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting business needs with technology and enabling faster, data-driven decision making.

Accountabilities
Key Responsibilities
  • Automation roadmap leadership: Build and maintain a practical "now, next, near" roadmap for BI automation, clarifying what will be delivered, when it is expected, and how work is sequenced against business priorities.
  • Project management: Manage the automation portfolio across intake, prioritization, requirements, milestones, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder communication.
  • Priority and investment choices: Partner with Growth Office and IS leaders to evaluate trade-offs, size opportunities, sequence work, and recommend where time, funding, and technical resources should be focused.
  • Growth Office partnership: Work with Growth Office leaders to understand strategic priorities, identify decision-critical metrics, and translate business questions into repeatable data products and automation use cases.
  • IS collaboration: Partner with Information Systems to ensure BI automation solutions are feasible, scalable, governed, secure, and aligned with enterprise data architecture, platforms, and delivery capacity.
  • Visibility and expectation-setting: Provide clear communication to stakeholders on roadmap status, delivery timing, decision points, risks, dependencies, and changes in priority.
  • Process Improvement: Identify fragmented or manual reporting processes and redesign them into automated, standardized workflows.  Support the development, enhancement, and adoption of dashboards, scorecards, and self-service reporting tools that support commercial growth, performance management, and executive decision-making.
  • Stakeholder enablement: Train and support business users to adopt BI tools, interpret dashboards, and build confidence in self-service analytics.
  • Insight-to-action orientation: Ensure BI products do more than report data by clearly surfacing trends, performance drivers, risks, and opportunities.
Minimum Education & Requirements
  • Experience
    • 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Commercial Reporting, Data Product Management, Project Management, Program Management, or related fields.
    • Proven success leading cross-functional initiatives from prioritization through implementation and adoption.
    • Experience partnering with IT, Information Systems, data engineering, or analytics teams.
    • Strong project and program management skills.
    • Experience building roadmaps, managing priorities, and presenting to leadership.
    • Working knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI platforms.
    • Experience automating reporting, improving data quality, standardizing KPIs, and enabling self-service analytics.
    • Strong communication, influence, facilitation, and change management skills.
    • Consumer products, retail, commercial, or growth strategy experience preferred.
    Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
Benefits & Perks

At Hershey, we offer competitive pay and a comprehensive total rewards package designed to support your wellbeing, financial security, and life outside of work.
  • Health & Wellbeing: Medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus wellness programs that support your physical and mental health
  • Financial Security: Competitive pay, annual incentive opportunities, and a 401(k) with company match
