Job description

Day to day: Responsible for developing dashboards and data solutions in conjunction with key initiatives. Assists with the development and promotion of business intelligence functions. Maintains strict confidentiality with all patients, employee and company information. Stays informed on new technologies and identifies opportunities to improve Business Intelligence processes. Proactively seeks opportunities to increase usage of Tableau among current end-users. Reports to the Manager of Business Intelligence.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and manage effective working relationships with other departments, groups and personnel with whom work must be coordinated or interfaced
  2. Maintains new data marts for use in Tableau Server.
  3. Streamlines and improves existing reports with adherence to defined policies and data definitions across financial systems.
  4. Responds to ad hoc requests for information from systems and assists with configuration of reports in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner.
  5. Identifies data governance issues and partner with Sr. Developers to correct those issues.
  6. Partner with clients to support ongoing reporting needs
  7. Develop custom reporting solutions using Tableau.
  8. Design, build and deliver new reports, measures, and KPIs
  9. Take initiative where appropriate to drive project architecture and processes
  10. Develop in-depth understanding of underlying data, data structures, and business uses to ensure reports meet client needs

  • EXCELLENT communication skills & ability to dig in and have a conversation with the customer regarding what is needed
  • Strong experience with Tableau and SQL
  • Skill and ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
