We are looking for an intern to join our Business Planning & Operations group within the Legal organization. In this role, you will support cross-functional teams including theย Patent Licensing business,ย Global Dispute Resolution group,ย andย IP Protection group.ย Working within the Business Operations group, you will contribute to process optimization and automation efforts while collecting, processing, and synthesizing large datasets into compelling market insights.ย ย 

Key Responsibilitiesย 

Data Analysis & Insightsย 

  • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets toย identifyย patterns and trends in the consumer electronics market.ย 

  • Consolidateย data from multiple sources into clear, meaningful summaries that inform strategic business decisions.ย 

  • Build andย maintainย dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators and market movements.ย 

  • Present findings to stakeholders in a concise and actionable format.ย 

Market Researchย 

  • Conduct in-depth primary and secondary research on consumer electronics industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies.ย 

  • Monitor market developments and synthesize information into periodic research briefs and newsletters.ย

Process Optimization & Automationย 

  • Support the identification and implementation of process improvements across Business Operations workflows.ย

Qualificationsย 

Requiredย

Preferred Experience & Skillsย 

  • Proficiencyย in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data modeling.ย

Must be available to work full-time Monday - Friday for 3 months between September 2026- December 2026.ย

The San Francisco/Bay Area base hourly range for this internship position is $33-38/hr and can vary if outside of this location. Our hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
