Job Summary:


Ridgeline Roofing is seeking a hands-on Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to help turn data into clear insights that improve decision-making across the business. This role will provide data, reports and analysis for teams such as sales, marketing, operations, and finance. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, comfortable working with business stakeholders, and eager to use modern tools, including AI, to work faster and surface better insights.

Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis & Processing: Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from multiple business systems to ensure reporting is accurate, consistent, and actionable.
  • Reporting & Dashboards: Build and maintain dashboards, recurring reports, and ad hoc analyses that help teams monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Operational KPIs: Analyze KPIs such as lead volume, appointment set rate, close rate, project backlog, cycle time, job profitability, revenue, margin, customer satisfaction, and marketing performance.
  • Data Infrastructure: Maintain and improve use of modern data warehouses and data pipelines.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, marketing, operations, finance, and customer service teams to understand business questions, translate them into analytical work, and communicate findings clearly.
  • AI-Enabled Productivity: Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, and similar platforms to accelerate analysis, automate repetitive tasks, improve documentation, generate SQL or code drafts, and develop scalable reporting workflows while maintaining data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Insight Communication: Summarize findings in a practical, business-friendly way and recommend next steps based on the data.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, technical, business, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-3+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, data analysis, operations analysis, finance analysis, or a related role.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with structured datasets.
  • Experience with BI and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar.
  • Ability to clean, reconcile, and QA data from multiple systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working in spreadsheets and analytical tools.
  • Clear communication skills and ability to explain data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience using AI tools to support analytics, coding, workflow automation, or documentation is a plus.
  • Experience with service industry CRM platforms such as Service Titan, ProCore, and similar is a plus.
