JOB DESCRIPTION

Role / Tier: Tableau BI Lead

Key responsibility:

  • 10 + years of experience in Data warehousing and Business Intelligence technologies

  • Very strong in SQL reporting, Data analytics and business intelligence

  • Should have good work experience in full data warehouse development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to testing, implementation, and support.

  • Should have very strong knowledge on ETL process.

  • Excellent technical and analytical skills with clear understanding of design goals of ER modeling for OLTP and dimension modeling for OLAP.

  • Should have good work experience in various Business Intelligence applications like Tableau/Spotfire/BOBJ

  • Should have good work experience in administration tasks such as publishing workbooks, setting permissions, managing ownerships, providing access to the users and adding them to the specific group and scheduled instances for reports in BI tools.

  • Should have very strong SQL knowledge

  • Should haveGood Understanding of Dimensional Modeling like Star Schema, Snow Flake Schemas, Fact and dimensional tables.

  • Should have experience in implementing of Dimensional Hierarchies, slowly changing dimensions

  • Good understanding of business environment, excellent communication skill and ability to work proactively in a fastpaced environment.

  • Should be capable of Communicate effectively with colleagues and business users.

  • Should have good experience in both agile and waterfall development methods.

  • Should have good experience in performance tuning, code debugging.

  • Should have knowledge on HADOOP, Hive.
