The Position:

Oversees card games in the Pit Area on an assigned shift, providing the Resort guest with superior service and encouraging return business. Ensures efficient, profitable operations, while operating the department in compliance with all-applicable laws and regulations. Protects company assets located in the table games area of the operation. Will deal all table games as needed. Duties are but not limited to:

  • Schedules, delegates and directs the workflow to Pit Staff during an assigned shift. Provides guidance and direction to the staff. Recommends to management hiring, development and discipline to the staff.
  • Issues playing cards and reviews them for irregularities and authorizes changing large bills for customers.
  • Monitors table games to ensure compliance with policies, procedures and Internal Controls.
  • Maintains current and comprehensive knowledge on Title 31, gaming laws, and Internal Regulations.
  • Resolves or refers to management customer disputes, concerns, complaints, ensuring continuous efforts are made to provide Resort guests with superior service.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Certificate required.
  • 1 - 3 years of casino experience required.
  • Proficient in Blackjack, Craps and Roulette, 3 Card Poker, and 4 Card Poker.
  • Current Title 31 Regulation experience.
  • 21 years of age or older.
  • Must have current OLCC card.
  • Able to read and comprehend written instructions.
  • Administrative/clerical experience required.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks.
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and customer relation's skills.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Excellent service approach when dealing with guests.
  • Must be able to obtain a Class III Gaming License.
