The Role:
The Table Games Dealer is responsible for properly dealing assigned table games in a friendly and enthusiastic manner. A Dealer is responsible for following all established rules, procedures, and Internal Controls while conducting the assigned game. A Dealer interacts directly with patrons and is expected to meet standards of exceptional service at all times.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform dealing services at assigned gaming tables
  • Learn and implement all rules, processes, and guidelines for the proper playing of all Table Games
  • Learn and implement all rules, laws, regulations, and Internal Controls for the Casino Queen
  • Knowledgably operate all Table Games Department equipment
  • Properly place, remove, shuffle and cut playing cards for table games
  • Complete training on the rules, processes, and guidelines for all Table Games
  • Learn and implement, reliably, all rules regarding bet payouts for all Table Games
  • Effectively deal multi-player games reliably, rapidly, and accurately
  • Assist with table game opening and closing procedures
  • Able to apply general math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, percentages)
  • Verify table game fill and credit transactions
  • Perform duties and responsibilities associated with the Illinois Gaming Board Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program (SEP)
  • Greet patrons and answer any questions, as directed
  • Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues immediately to your supervisor
  • Follow all safety standards as instructed
  • Must be able to apply knowledge gained from training, education and work experience
  • Engage with customers during the game to provide an excellent playing experience
  • Must be friendly and courteous at all times
  • Able to satisfactorily complete assignable work requested by the Shift Manager
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Must have a working knowledge of English
  • Able to effectively communicate verbally and written
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an Illinois Gaming License
