Virtus Healthcare Staffing is searching for a dedicated and skilled Cath Lab Tech to join our partner, a leading medical center in Sierra Vista, AZ. This is an exceptional opportunity for a specialist to provide direct patient care within the Cath Lab and assist with a variety of complex cardiovascular procedures. Position Overview
As a Cath Lab Tech, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care, from initial prep through recovery. You will be proficient in performing essential cardiac procedures, including cardiac catheterizations, percutaneous coronary interventions, and permanent pacemaker implants. Additionally, you will be familiar with procedures such as cardiac stress testing, loop recorder implants, and venous ablations. Your work will be guided by your clinical expertise and a commitment to adhering to all professional and organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care within the Cath Lab, assisting with patient preparation and recovery.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in a variety of cardiovascular procedures, including cardiac catheterizations and pacemaker implants.
  • Support physicians during procedures and ensure the highest level of patient safety and care.
  • Adhere to all established guidelines and standards for clinical practice.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the Cath Lab.
Qualifications
  • Certifications:
    • A current CVT, ARRT, or RCIS certification is required.
    • You must obtain ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Experience:
    • A minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience is preferred.
