Job description

Our client, a well-established and growing manufacturing organization, is seeking an experienced ERP Developer with strong Infor SyteLine expertise to join their Information Technology team. This individual will be responsible for the development, customization, integration, enhancement, and ongoing support of the company's ERP environment and related business applications.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with business users, solving complex technical challenges, and helping modernize manufacturing operations through technology.

The preferred work arrangement is hybrid, but remote candidates located within the Midwest will be considered. Regular travel to four manufacturing facilities is required to support implementations, upgrades, user training, and business initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, customize, and support the Infor SyteLine ERP platform.
  • Configure and customize SyteLine using:
    • IDOs
    • Forms
    • Form Reports
    • DataViews
    • Event Handlers
  • Develop custom business applications using modern Microsoft .NET technologies.
  • Write, test, and deploy custom code to enhance ERP functionality.
  • Build and maintain integrations between SyteLine and third-party applications using APIs and other integration methods.
  • Develop SQL objects including stored procedures, functions, and complex queries.
  • Design and maintain SSRS reports and other reporting solutions.
  • Assist with ERP upgrades, enhancements, and system optimization initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical support for ERP-related applications.
  • Partner with business stakeholders across multiple departments to improve processes and maximize ERP utilization.
  • Develop data migration utilities and support data conversion activities.
  • Document technical solutions and development standards.
  • Stay current on Infor SyteLine enhancements and Microsoft development technologies.
  • Provide occasional support for broader IT initiatives as needed.
  • Travel to manufacturing facilities for project work, implementations, training, and support.

Required Qualifications

Experience

  • 3+ years developing and supporting Infor SyteLine Version 10 in a manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience customizing:
    • IDOs
    • Forms
    • DataViews
    • Event Handlers
    • Form Reporting
  • 3+ years developing with:
    • C#
    • ASP.NET
    • MVC
    • Blazor
    • Razor
  • Strong Microsoft SQL Server development experience including:
    • T-SQL
    • Stored Procedures
    • Database design
  • Experience creating and maintaining SSRS reports
  • Experience integrating ERP systems with external applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Manufacturing industry experience
  • Experience supporting ERP upgrades and implementations
  • Familiarity with modern API development and integration best practices
