TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Corpus Christi, Texas, 78404!

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite | Projected Start: June 22, 2026

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process — including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation — for assigned critical care patients.
  • Manage high-acuity patients with multiple comorbidities, including post cardiothoracic surgery patients fresh from the OR, and patients on multiple vasoactive drips.
  • Operate and monitor advanced hemodynamic and renal support devices including IMPELLA, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, Arctic Sun, and TABLO XT/CRRT.
  • Administer medications and treatments per protocol; monitor for side effects and treatment effectiveness.
  • Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with scope of practice.
  • Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided; assess and address patient and family education needs.
Required Qualifications
  • Active RN license in the state of Texas or a compact state license.
  • Current BLS certification required (American Heart Association only).
  • Current ACLS certification required (American Heart Association only).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a Critical Care nursing setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of post cardiothoracic surgical recovery and advanced hemodynamic support devices.
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Previous experience with Epic electronic health records system.
  • Experience managing CRRT/TABLO XT and Arctic Sun temperature management systems.
