Position Summary
Phileo Shared Services is seeking an IT Systems & Operations Specialist to serve as a key Technology Manager for our partner Christian schools. This is a dynamic mid-level role designed for a technical professional ready to transition from general support into advanced systems administration.
Operating at the heart of our Shared Services team, you will manage the essential "backbone" of school technology-from device deployment and network health to security protocols.
Key Responsibilities
  • Device & Deployment Management: Manage the full lifecycle of student and faculty hardware to ensure devices are configured, updated, and secure.
  • Network & Security Operations: Maintain and troubleshoot campus IP networks and implement security best practices.
  • Subscription Administration: Oversee the management of software subscriptions and licenses, ensuring faculty and students have uninterrupted access to essential educational tools.
  • Collaborative Projects: Work alongside Senior IT Specialists on infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, and security audits, gaining exposure to high-level architectural planning.

Education & Professional Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Systems Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in technical support or systems administration.
  • Blackbaud Suite Support Experience (Preferred).
  • Experience with Subscription Management is highly desired.

Skills Required
  • Systems Proficiency: Strong technical experience supporting hardware, software, and IP network equipment in a multi-user environment.
  • Security Mindset: Understanding of modern security principles (encryption, permissions, and endpoint protection).
