Job description

The Opportunity:

Grafana Labs is seeking a Contracts and Legal Systems Operations Manager to join our dedicated, collaborative, and fast-growing legal team. This is a highly cross-functional individual contributor role with significant ownership and no direct people management responsibilities. The primary responsibility of the Contracts and Legal Systems Operations Manager will be to support commercial contract negotiations and contracting processes, while optimizing CLM and CRM integrations.

The successful candidate will be an organized, detail-oriented, and analytical thinker who embraces a business-oriented approach and is excited to help with a wide range of legal projects. The successful candidate will have the ability to think strategically and establish trusted partner relationships with the legal team and internal clients across Grafana Labs.

What You'll Be Doing:

Commercial & Procurement Contract Support

  • Assist in the negotiation of Non-Disclosure Agreements, Master Service Agreements, and various vendor agreements as needed. 
  • Support the contracting process throughout the entire contract lifecycle from initial request to execution. 
  • Support the improvement of playbooks and form templates. 
  • Provide great client service and have the ability to escalate appropriately where required. 

Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) Support 

  • Oversee and manage commercial tickets within the CLM system.
  • Review executed commercial agreements to verify accurate metadata capture and ensure proper filing within the CLM system. 
  • Maintain and update contract workflows as needed to reflect evolving business and legal requirements. 
  • Lead and support initiatives to enhance contract workflows, driving efficiency, scalability, and process improvements. 

Salesforce (CRM) Support 

  • Manage and optimize the integration between CLM system and Salesforce. 
  • Partner with Legal Ops Senior Manager and Salesforce Administrators to identify, prioritize, and implement system enhancements and integration improvements. 
  • Oversee and monitor the migration of commercial agreements into the CLM system via Salesforce integration.
  • Develop, generate, and maintain reports to support contract tracking, pipeline visibility, and legal team performance metrics. 
  • Enhance and maintain Legal Ops dashboard in Salesforce, ensuring data integrity and delivering insights to Legal Ops Senior Manager.

What Makes You a Great Fit:

  • Located in North America.
  • Hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • A professional with 4+ years of working with CLM and CRM systems, contract management, legal support and operations, or equivalent experience. 
  • Experienced in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating standard commercial contracts (SaaS experience is a plus), as well as system integrations.
  • An excellent communicator and able to partner well with colleagues on the deal operations, legal, and procurement teams. 
  • Experienced with high growth private companies.
  • Interested in working for a dynamic and agile technology business and excited to be part of a growing team.
  • Organized and efficient with your time and tasks.
  • Someone with a good sense of humor who enjoys collaborating with colleagues and working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Compensation & Rewards:

In the United States, the OTE (On-Target Earnings) compensation range for this role is $123,000 - $147,000. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed throughout the interview process. All of our roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), giving every team member ownership in Grafana Labs' success.
