As a systems integrator, you primarily combine subsystems into one integrated solution and perform job duties such as purchasing subsystems from different contracted vendors, assessing information technology (IT) system requirements, creating an integration plan or solution, and building a personalized application or architecture to meet client needs. Systems integrators need IT, software development, and problem-solving skills.
