Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in systems engineering principles and practices, with a strong understanding of SELC policy, MSAM/NMAP reviews, and USCG/DHS SELC frameworks. This role requires a proactive individual capable of providing technical leadership and guidance to support complex systems engineering projects within government frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance and support on Systems Engineering Lifecycle (SELC) policies and processes.
  • Conduct and lead MSAM (Major Systems Acquisition Management) and NMAP (Non-Major Acquisition Program) reviews to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Apply USCG (United States Coast Guard) and DHS (Department of Homeland Security) SELC frameworks to system development and integration efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, assess, and improve system architectures and designs.
  • Support the development of technical documentation, reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices and standards in systems engineering throughout project lifecycles.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven expertise in Systems Engineering and recognized as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • In-depth knowledge of SELC policy and its application within government agencies.
  • Experience conducting MSAM and NMAP reviews.
