Job description


BAE Systems is seeking an exceptional systems engineer for an exciting opportunity to support the Air Force's acquisition of the next generation Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM), the Sentinel weapon system.
This systems engineer will work with a highly skilled team developing and reviewing model-based systems engineering architecture products; namely the engineer will be expected to edit official content in the US Air Force's official MBSE-based GBSD Reference Architecture, the contractually-binding MBSE model to the Prime Contractor. The candidate is expected to work alongside professional modelers and presenting data and reports to the US Air Force customer. This position will operate in an organizational culture that develops and challenges employees to achieve high performance in a fast-paced, high-morale workplace using streamlined management policies and procedures. It is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to shape the development and deployment of the next generation intercontinental ballistic missile, the national security-critical backbone of our nuclear deterrent capability.

  • B.S. in a STEM field at an accredited university or college.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with requirements decomposition concepts and tools.
  • Demonstrated capacity to edit and review MBSE architecture products in-situ using MBSE software like Cameo, Rhapsody, etc.
  • Familiarity with relationship traceability in digital architectures.
