Position Summary: 

The Account Management Support Intern supports the Account Management team by monitoring shipments, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining accurate updates for both internal teams and customers. This role provides hands-on experience in freight visibility, shipment tracking, and problem resolution within a fast-paced logistics environment. The intern will work closely with Account Managers and gain exposure to supply chain processes, TMS tools, and customer communication.

* Start date Early May 2026- August 2026 with opportunity to extend*

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and track shipments throughout the transportation lifecycle using TMS and other tracking tools
  • Communicate proactively with carriers, customers, and internal teams regarding shipment status, delays, and exceptions
  • Analyze shipment data to identify trends or potential issues and provide actionable insights
  • Assist in resolving shipment discrepancies or delays
  • Document and maintain accurate records of shipment updates and communications
  • Support the Account Management team on assigned projects related to shipment visibility and process improvement
  • Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for improving tracking accuracy and efficiency

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Education/Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associates Degree (A.A.) or equivalent combination of education and work experience preferred
  • Experience with logistics, operations, or supply chain systems is a plus
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
