Job description

Everforth ECS CS is seeking a Senior Project Analystto work in our Fairfax, VA office.
Everforth ECS is seeking a Senior Project Analyst to join our Information Management (IM) team in Fairfax, VA, supporting a large-scale federal data services program. This is a cross-functional role at the intersection of project management, business analysis, and information management - ideal for a versatile professional who thrives in ambiguity, brings structure to complexity, and can engage confidently with both clients and technical teams.
Our program is responsible for designing, building, deploying, operating, and maintaining a comprehensive data solution that collects, normalizes, visualizes, and shares cybersecurity data across more than 100 federal agencies. The integrated platform spans multiple Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) products, software configuration packages, and custom code - all operating as a unified solution meeting the requirements of a federal cabinet-level department.
We are seeking professionals who thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and highly collaborative environment where problem-solving, critical thinking, and mission-driven thinking are essential. Our program operates within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). An aptitude and enthusiasm for continuous learning and improvement is a must.
Role Overview
The Senior Project Analyst serves as a versatile contributor and client-facing liaison within the Information Management team. This individual will support project planning and execution, requirements gathering, process documentation, and information architecture - bridging the gap between technical execution and stakeholder communication. The ideal candidate brings a blend of business analysis, project coordination, and knowledge management capabilities, and is comfortable owning work streams with limited direction in a fast-moving program environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Direct Client Consultation & Requirements Elicitation: Sit directly with federal clients, program owners, and agency stakeholders to lead discovery sessions, elicit functional/operational requirements, and translate complex mission problems into clear technical requirements. Manage competing priorities across multiple work streams, maintaining clarity and momentum without constant direction.
  • Agile Project Management & Delivery Execution: Take independent ownership of client workstreams. Track project tasks, milestones, and risks using Jira; actively support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and Program Increment (PI) Planning activities within the SAFe framework.
  • Cross-Functional Communication Liaison: Serve as the primary communication bridge across engineering, operations, and client teams. Translate complex technical data architectural concepts into accessible, polished language for non-technical executive audiences.
  • Information Architecture & Knowledge Governance: Apply information architecture principles to structure, organize, and maintain high-fidelity client knowledge repositories across platforms (Confluence, SharePoint, etc.). Establish content taxonomies and metadata standards to ensure discoverability. Collaborate on the development and delivery of end-user training, agency onboarding materials, and guidance documentation for federal agency stakeholders.
  • Operational Process Optimization: Independently develop, document, and refine client-facing process workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and program governance frameworks aligned to mission objectives. Contribute to knowledge sharing initiatives that support a culture of continuous improvement across the program
  • Client Engagement & Strategic Briefings: Prepare and deliver high-level presentations, status communications, and strategic change-management briefings directly to federal executive leadership and agency personnel.
  • Adoption & Technical Onboarding Support: Collaborate on the development and delivery of end-user training, onboarding materials, and guidance documentation directly for federal agency stakeholders to maximize platform adoption.

  • US citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Suitability clearance
  • Bachelor's degree with 6-8+ years of relevant experience in project management, business analysis, information management, or a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate client-facing meetings, capture requirements, and drive projects to completion with minimal supervision
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate technical content for non-technical audiences and present with confidence
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities and adapt quickly in ambiguous or fast-changing environments
  • 4+ years of experience coordinating technical objectives across diverse teams including engineering, operations, and management stakeholders
  • 4+ years of experience supporting IT systems in either a project, analytical, or operational capacity
  • 2+ years of experience in information or knowledge management, including organizing content repositories, developing documentation standards, or supporting information architecture
  • 2+ years of experience with agile methodologies and/or frameworks such as SAFe; familiarity with Jira or equivalent project tracking tools
  • Experience developing and maintaining professional documentation including process guides, SOPs, requirements documentation, and stakeholder-facing deliverables
