Experience Level: Journeyman (Level 2) - Minimum 7 years experience
Clearance Required: TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
Location: National Capital Region (NCR) or San Antonio, TX

The Journeyman System/Network Engineer supports the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of infrastructure required for the unified solution. This position works with Kubernetes environments, networking configurations, and Government platform services to ensure reliable system operation across all deployment environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Kubernetes cluster configuration and management
  • Assist with network configuration and troubleshooting
  • Support integration with Government platform services
  • Implement and maintain monitoring solutions
  • Assist with security configuration and hardening
  • Support deployment automation and Infrastructure as Code
  • Troubleshoot system and network issues
  • Document infrastructure configurations

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of system/network engineering experience
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant technical field (or equivalent substitution)
  • Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
  • Strong Linux/Unix system administration skills
  • Knowledge of networking protocols and configurations
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and services
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, EFK stack)

Salary & Benefits

The salary associated with this position ($77,000-$163,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate's qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise. Compensation will be determined based on these factors to ensure alignment with skills, responsibilities, and market standards.
