We are looking for a Control System Network Engineer to support our SJE Revere brand. This is an on-site role, and candidate will work at our Lakeland, Florida office location.

The job:

As a Control System Network Engineer, you will provide IT/OT infrastructure support and design for control system projects, executing tasks and sections assigned by project engineers, project managers, and estimators. Travel to customer sites as needed for commissioning and support.

The skills you need:

To succeed in this role, you must have experience with:

  • Complete network and IT/OT infrastructure tasks assigned by project engineers, PMs, and estimators in line with project design and specifications
  • Create network drawings and documentation (e.g., network topology diagrams, architecture layouts)
  • Design network racks and layouts, including equipment placement, cabling, and power considerations
  • Configure and deploy networking hardware (switches, routers, firewalls, radios) for assigned projects
  • Set up and integrate servers and storage systems within customer control system environments as directed
  • Implementation of cybersecurity measures for control system networks (access control, segmentation, monitoring)
  • Document work performed, including configurations and as-built updates, for assigned sections
  • Provide on-site or remote troubleshooting support for network/IT-OT issues as needed
Education, Experience and Ability Requirements:
  • 3+ years in IT/Engineering experience
  • 1+ years in an OT/Scada role
  • Experience with firewalls, routers/switches, servers, PCs, storage, security with Scada related items like Scada software’s, PLCs, Scada protocols, Scada topologies
  • Certificates - Cisco, Fortinet, Microsoft, CompTIA (Preferred, not required)
