Job Description

SOSi is seeking a System Integration Specialist to support mission requirements for a structured approach to further develop, integrate, and sustain a scalable, federated data ecosystem that enhances interoperability, governance, and mission-driven analytics for a DoD customer. The primary objective of the program is to bridge the operational gaps between DoD, IC, interagency, and non-traditional international partners to enable real-time information sharing, dynamic data integration, and mission-tailored analytical capabilities.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Ensure interoperability between JIRA and GitLab by configuring automated workflows for task tracking, reporting, and approvals.
  • Establish authentication integrations with the sponsoring Command’s Microsoft Active Directory (Azure AD) to enforce CAC/PIV-based access controls in accordance with DoD identity management policies.
  • Submit the System Interoperability & Security Integration Report, documenting authentication measures, security compliance, and integration workflows.
Qualifications
  • Active in scope TS/SCI. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, OR Five (5) years of equivalent experience in system integration.
  • Knowledge and capability to integrate JIRA, GitLab, and other IT service management tools, ensuring seamless data synchronization and workflow automation.
  • Proficient in API integrations, system interoperability, and secure authentication protocols.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills are required to streamline data exchange between platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience in integrating ITSM platforms, developing API-based solutions, and ensuring secure identity federation.
  • Experience with OAuth, SAML, and enterprise authentication protocols.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications include ITIL Foundation Certification or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect.
