What We're Doing
Join the Mission Planner System Engineering team with Lockheed Martin in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. Use your technical acuity and grow into a leader in system engineering and product development!
The Work
The system engineer in this position will work across several Aegis programs with responsibilities in Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) and Integrated Air Missile Defense (IAMD) tasking for the Mission Planner. The system engineer will help design and develop models and algorithms in support of BMD and IAMD missions. Additional tasking and responsibilities will include analyzing and assessing mission capabilities and solutions.
You will have responsibility for algorithmic design, data analysis, requirements development, modeling and simulation. This will entail developing solutions to mathematical and physics-based problems in the area of mission planning for IAMD scenarios. You will be responsible for ensuring the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into a total system solution that acknowledges technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
