Job description

 NEAM has an opening for a Systems Development Professional within our Proprietary Development team supporting our Capital and Risk Analytics (CARA) system. The Systems Development Professional will work closely with Traders and Portfolio Managers to implement industry leading applications that drive NEAM's investment and risk management process. The position will be involved in the full lifecycle of NEAM's development process including design, architecture, development, implementation, tuning, production support and maintenance.
Your responsibilities:

  • Work closely within a team of developers to enable NEAM's investment business through technology
  • Develop risk and analytical models used for making investment decisions
  • Apply big data visualization techniques to translate information into a visual context
  • Identify and implement ways to improve the efficiency of production processes and infrastructure
  • Support and maintain production processes and infrastructure
  • Collaborate with team to develop new features for CARA platform
