About This Role

We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Childcare Teacher to join our team in Beaver Dam, WI.

In this role, you will create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment tailored specifically to the developmental needs of two-year-old children.

You will guide toddlers through critical milestones, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive growth during a pivotal stage of early childhood development.


What You'll Do
  • Design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and daily activities that encourage exploration and learning.
  • Provide attentive care, including assistance with potty training, meals, and emotional regulation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment that meets state licensing regulations.
  • Observe and document child development and behavioral milestones to share with parents and supervisors.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with families regarding their child's daily progress and routines.

Requirements
  • Must meet Wisconsin Department of Children and Families (DCF) educational requirements for childcare teachers.
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 1 year of professional experience working with toddlers or young children in a licensed facility.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certifications, or willingness to obtain them immediately upon hire.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and meet physical requirements, including lifting up to 40 pounds.

Nice To Haves
  • Associate degree or Child Development Associate (CDA) credential in Early Childhood Education.
  • Previous experience specifically managing a classroom of two-year-olds.
  • Familiarity with Wisconsin's registry system and professional development tiers.
