Maritime Computer Systems Administrator

The Opportunity:

As a defense mission professional, you ask questions others don't. You understand the nuances of complex situations. You use your skills to think bigger and push further, solving complex problems. We're looking for an expert like you to create solutions for missions that keep our nation safe.

As a defense mission professional, you'll bring your analytical, strategic, operational, and programmatic expertise to work on projects for unmanned systems. You'll research, design, develop, analyze, and plan to build comprehensive products supporting unmanned systems and their supporting technologies. You'll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we'll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, processes and drive real-world support for the Department of War and its objectives.

You'll guide the work we do for the Department of War and the solutions we deliver for unmanned systems.

You served as a seasoned Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy-now, continue your mission with us. Further your career with us as you help solve complex design, integration, and analytical problems for unmanned systems.

You Have:

  • 4+ years of experience in managing complex IT systems, troubleshooting, resolving critical network issues, enhancing network reliability, establishing critical comms links with existing IT infrastructure, and maintaining legacy IT infrastructure.
  • Experience with establishing, and maintaining,IT asset tracking, utilization, and electronic disposal
  • Experience in managing user accounts to include creation, maintaining, and retiring of accounts in Windows and Linux based systems
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining forward deployed IT assets
  • Experience with Department of Warcommand structures,policyand formal documentation
  • Knowledge of COMSEC requirements for satellite and handheld cryptographic equipment to include issuing, loading, holding, and destruction of COMSEC material
  • Ability to organize, schedule, andfacilitatetechnical meetings and working groups, and analyze, research, assess, and organize technical data into cohesive and clear technical reports and presentations
  • Secret clearance
  • Master's degree
  • CompTIA Security+ and CompTIA CYSA certifications

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with unmanned systems
  • Knowledge of unmanned systems deployment and Operational Tempo
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Possession of excellent critical thinking, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Experience as a COMSEC Manager

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
