Job Description

This position will be responsible for managing multiple UNIX and Windows systems in both a physical and VM environment. The successful candidate will be able to manage and troubleshoot Microsoft Active Directory as well as OS and system level Permissions and issues. The candidate will be fluent with Microsoft Windows Powershell for use in scripting management tasks and system support scripts.

Qualifications

    Minimum of Associate's Degree required
    3-5 years Sun Solaris & Unix/Linux administration experience.
    3-5 years of Database administration of Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Informix
    3-5 Years Windows systems Server 2008R2 - 2012 administration including indepth knowledge of MS Active Directory
    1+ years' experience supporting Symantec NetBackup 6.x or higher - Must include backup and recovery of Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Informix (Including Sun Solaris OS recovery using ufsdump)
    1+ year experience supporting MS Windows 2003/2008/2012
    Understanding of Windows Power Shell
    Knowledge of basic network administration
    Change management and configuration management experience
    Project management Process experience
    The successful candidate will have demonstrated analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast paced, changing work environment.
    Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written are a must.
    Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends is necessary.
