Job description

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as an Environmental Compliance Inspector. This role involves traveling to job sites along designated routes to monitor and document the status of Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) controls. The ideal candidate will have experience in environmental inspections or construction site audits and a strong understanding of SWPPP requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine site inspections to assess the condition and effectiveness of SWPPP controls.
  • Accurately document findings and communicate site conditions to internal teams, clients, and field personnel.
  • Draft and submit inspection reports and amendments as needed.
  • Monitor site compliance and evaluate the progress and quality of stormwater best management practices.

Qualifications:

  • Experience or educational background in environmental compliance, site inspections, or construction site audits preferred.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while navigating multiple job sites.

Job Requirements

•Customer Contact with superintendents, engineers, and other inspectors.
•Be at least 21 years of age.
•Be able to read, write, and speak English
•Ability to follow directions.
•High Customer Service skills.
•Honest, dependable, trustworthy.
• Clean Driver License Record and be able to pass a physical/drug test.
