Job description

Join a growing precision machining company that is investing in the future. Our expanding CNC Swiss department features six new Star Swiss machines—with additional equipment planned—and we're looking for an experienced CNC Swiss Set-Up Operator to help support our continued growth.

Responsibilities

  • Perform complete setups and operate Star CNC Swiss machines.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
  • Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring instruments.
  • Make tool offsets and machine adjustments to maintain tight tolerances.
  • Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain quality standards while meeting production schedules.
  • Work closely with team members to ensure efficient workflow and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of CNC Swiss machining experience.
  • Hands-on setup experience with Star Swiss machines preferred.
  • Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills.
  • Experience using calipers, micrometers, indicators, and other precision measuring equipment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot machining issues independently.
