Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Swine Production Manager to oversee the daily operations of a commercial swine production system in Albion, Nebraska. This hands on leadership role is responsible for driving production performance, developing employees, maintaining high standards of animal care, and ensuring efficient operations across farrowing, nursery, and finishing facilities. The ideal candidate enjoys leading from the front, building strong teams, and continuously improving production results.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the daily operations of farrowing, nursery, and finishing facilities to achieve production, quality, and animal welfare goals
• Supervise, coach, and develop production supervisors and employees while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
• Monitor herd health, biosecurity, environmental controls, and production performance to maximize operational efficiency
• Coordinate facility maintenance, staffing, production schedules, and resource planning to support daily operations
• Manage operating budgets, production costs, and performance metrics while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Five or more years of progressive swine production experience with leadership responsibilities
• Experience overseeing commercial farrowing, nursery, and finishing operations
• Strong knowledge of swine production, animal health, nutrition, genetics, biosecurity, and production management
• Experience developing employees, analyzing production data, and improving operational performance
