Job description

East Bank Club is seeking experienced and enthusiastic Swim Instructors to join our team. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for instructing swimming lessons to individuals of all ages and skill levels. You will be tasked with ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants while teaching proper swim techniques and water safety.

Rate of Pay: Rate of Pay: 100% commission. Commission structure: 40% of service revenue. Estimated earnings range: $24-33 per hour based on typical services volume.

Privates

  • 30 minutes $16.00
  • 60 minutes $32.00

Semi-privates

  • 30 minutes $18.40
  • 60 minutes $36.80

Youth groups

  • 30 minutes $15.00

Available Shifts:
Sunday: 10:00am-2:00pm or 3:00-7:00pm
Monday: 3:00-7:00pm
Tuesday: 3:00-7:00pm
Wednesday: 3:00-7:00pm
Thursday: 3:00-7:00pm
Friday: 3:00-7:00pm
Saturday: 9:00am-1:00pm or 1:00-6:00pm
This is a part-time position. Available shifts listed above will not be the schedule. Available shifts listed above are the current need for shifts to be filled.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement swim lesson plans
  • Provide individual and group instruction to participants of all ages and skill levels
  • Assess participant abilities and adjust instruction as needed
  • Ensure a safe and positive learning environment
  • Enforce safety rules and guidelines
  • Communicate effectively with participants and their parents/guardians
  • Maintain accurate records of participant progress
  • Attend required meetings and training sessions
  • Assist with swim team or special aquatic events, as needed

Requirements

  • Must be authorized to work in the USA. We use E-Verify.
  • Previous swim instruction experience preferred
  • American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification or equivalent preferred
  • First Aid and CPR certification required (can be obtained after hire)
