Cornerstone Builders of SWFL is looking for an experienced Finish Carpenter to join our skilled team. As a Finish Carpenter, you’ll be responsible for the installation and finishing of trim work, moldings, doors. We’re seeking an individual with exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail who takes pride in creating beautiful, high-quality finishes for both residential and commercial projects.


Responsibilities:

  • Install and finish baseboards, crown molding, doors and trim
  • Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials to meet project specifications
  • Non structural framing
  • Read and interpret drawings and project specifications
  • Maintain clean and safe job sites, and adhere to all safety protocols
  • Work closely with project managers and other trades to ensure timely project completion
  • Repair or replace damaged trim and woodwork when needed
  • Drywall installation/rough carpentry when needed
  • Demolition when needed
Requirements:


  • 2+ years of proven experience as a Finish Carpenter
  • Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques, tools and materials
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and project specifications
  • Precision in measuring, cutting, and fitting materials
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanship
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools
  • Physical stamina and ability to work in varying conditions
  • Clean driving record/ability to drive company vehicle
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience working in residential remodeling
