Who We Are

White Lodging is looking for a licensed massage therapist to join the team at The Spa at Union Club Hotel — a boutique hotel spa located on the campus of Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. Set on the second floor of the Union Club Hotel, Marriott Autograph Collection, The Spa offers a curated wellness retreat featuring massage therapy, body treatments, facials, and an AI-powered recovery experience — all designed to restore balance for hotel guests, Purdue alumni, and the local community.

As a spa massage therapist at this one-of-a-kind property, you'll deliver therapeutic massage and body treatments — from deep tissue and Swedish massage to Himalayan salt stone therapy and aromatherapy — in a calm, boutique environment where exceptional guest care is the standard. Whether you're an experienced hotel spa therapist or a licensed therapist looking to grow in a resort-style spa setting, this is a rare opportunity in the Greater Lafayette, Indiana area.

What You'll Do

  • Perform massage and body treatments — including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, and aromatherapy massage — in accordance with established service standards and current Indiana massage therapy licensure requirements
  • Deliver an exceptional spa guest experience by anticipating needs and creating a warm, welcoming treatment environment
  • Maintain expert knowledge of all spa services and wellness treatments, retail products, hotel amenities, and the local Purdue/West Lafayette area
  • Educate guests on product ingredients, skin and body care benefits, and personalized at-home care recommendations
  • Answer guest questions in a knowledgeable, professional, and service-focused manner
  • Maintain treatment rooms, spa supplies, and service areas to the highest cleanliness and safety standards
  • Protect guest privacy and confidentiality at all times in accordance with spa policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring

  • Current Indiana state licensure as a Massage Therapist (LMT) — required
  • 2+ years of massage therapy or spa industry experience preferred
  • Proficiency in multiple massage modalities and body treatment techniques
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a natural ability to build guest rapport
  • Warm, friendly, and professional demeanor consistent with a luxury hotel spa environment
  • Sound judgment and commitment to guest confidentiality and privacy
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods while performing services; ability to push, pull, and lift up to 25 lbs.

What You Can Look Forward To

  • Benefits — starting day 1
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Life and disability insurance
  • Paid parental leave
  • DailyPay — get paid when you need it
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off (PTO) with rollover
  • Complimentary wellness tools
  • Unlimited employee referral bonuses
  • Leadership development & tuition reimbursement
  • Discounts on hotel rooms, dining, and travel
  • Growth opportunities across multiple hotel properties
