Bilingual Front Office Specialist- Southwest
Location: 1714 SW Military Dr STE 108, San Antonio, TX 78221
Status: Seasonal-Full Time
Pay: $14-$16 depending on experience

The front desk drives the entire visit. At Little Spurs Pediatric Urgent Care, Front Office Specialists keep families informed, supported, and moving through the clinic with confidence, even when the lobby is full and emotions are high.
This role is not just about checking boxes. It's about accuracy, communication, and showing up steady when parents are stressed and kids don't feel well.
What You'll Do
  • Be the calm, welcoming presence families meet first
  • Manage check-in, insurance verification, and payments without losing accuracy
  • Explain wait times and next steps clearly and respectfully
  • Juggle phones, walk-ins, and systems during busy shifts
  • Document thoroughly in the EMR and protect patient privacy
  • Work closely with clinical teams to keep patient flow moving
What We Need
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Enjoys working with children and families
  • Current American Heart Association BLS certification
  • Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and busy clinics
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a background check
Nice to Have
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Pediatric or urgent care front desk experience
When We Operate (Schedule):
  • Clinic Hours are as follows: Mon - Fri: 8:00 am - 8:00 pm
  • Sat-Sun: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
  • Opportunity to travel to other clinics as needed
  • Rotating weekends
