What is an SVT?

SVT stands for Special Victims Team or Special Victims Unit, typically found within law enforcement agencies. Members of an SVT investigate crimes involving vulnerable populations, such as sexual assault, child abuse, domestic violence, and elder abuse. Their role includes interviewing victims and witnesses, collecting evidence, working closely with social services, and ensuring that sensitive cases are handled with care and professionalism. SVTs often receive specialized training to support victims and pursue justice for sensitive and complex cases. These teams play a critical role in protecting and advocating for victims of serious and often traumatic crimes.

What skills and qualifications are needed to thrive as an SVT professional?

To thrive as an SVT (Suivi de la Vie du Travail) professional, you need a strong background in human resources, labor law, and workplace compliance, often supported by relevant academic qualifications in HR or law. Familiarity with HR information systems (HRIS), payroll software, and regulatory compliance tools is typically required. Exceptional interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly will help you excel in this role. These skills ensure accurate employee record management, legal compliance, and a positive workplace environment.

What challenges do SVT engineers face when troubleshooting complex systems?

SVT (System Verification and Test) engineers often encounter challenges related to diagnosing issues in highly integrated and complex systems. These challenges can include reproducing intermittent bugs, understanding interactions between hardware and software components, and coordinating testing across multiple teams or subsystems. Success in this role often requires strong problem-solving skills, clear communication, and the ability to analyze logs and test results under pressure. Collaborating closely with developers and other QA professionals is key to efficiently resolving system-level issues.

Job description

Job Summary Why Join Us

Abrazo Medical Group is expanding its cardiovascular program across the Phoenix West Valley — and EP referrals are actively being sent outside the system due to unmet demand, giving you an immediate, built-in patient base on day one. With dedicated lab block time at two established hospital campuses, strong interventional cardiology referral infrastructure, and a structured ramp-up to full practice within roughly six months, the foundation for a high-volume EP practice is already in place. You'll work within a well-resourced, collaborative cardiology network backed by the operational strength of Tenet Healthcare — with no STEMI call and no general call obligation pulling you away from what you do best.

Position Highlights
  • Employed cardiac electrophysiology position within Abrazo Medical Group / Biltmore Cardiology, a Tenet Healthcare system
  • Dual-campus coverage: Abrazo West Campus and Abrazo Arrowhead Campus
  • Dedicated EP lab block time at both hospitals (one block day per week per site initially), with expansion as volumes grow
  • Hybrid OR at West Campus and multiple cath lab environments supporting full EP procedural scope
  • Clinic presence at both campuses (minimum one day per site weekly, volume-adjusted)
  • Broad procedural mix: AF ablations (PVI and complex/redo), SVT and VT ablations, ICD and pacemaker implants, device revisions, loop recorders, and advanced EP studies
  • 3,000+ cardiac catheterizations annually providing strong interventional referral pipeline
  • CT surgery support at Arrowhead; expansion to West Campus underway
  • Dedicated anesthesia support available
  • Market-wide device clinic infrastructure with Pacemate remote monitoring platform
  • EMR: Athena
  • No call | No STEMI call | Minimal general cardiology backup only
  • Expected ramp to full practice volume within approximately 6 months
What We Offer
  • Competitive employed compensation structure supported by existing unmet procedural demand
  • Rapid path to high-volume practice with a projected 6-month ramp timeline
  • Dedicated EP lab block time with built-in expansion capacity
  • Dual-campus infrastructure with hybrid OR and multi-cath lab access
  • Malpractice insurance provided
  • Health, dental, and life insurance
  • 401(k) with employer matching
  • Deferred compensation program
  • Relocation assistance
Candidate Requirements
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
  • Collaborative practice approach within a multidisciplinary cardiology environment
  • Comfortable practicing across a dual-campus model
