Job description

The Markets Operational Risk and Controls Group is a group within Markets responsible for providing front to back connectivity with support functions in proactively developing and implementing solutions to control and monitor third-party risk activities to ensure they operate within risk appetite and comply with Citi policies. The team establishes and maintains a robust 1st Line of Defense control environment and culture to minimize third party risk within the business. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join our Third Party Risk Management team as an Assistant Vice President (AVP) The role will focus on executing project management across different disciplines throughout the Third Party risk framework for both external and internal third parties.

The ideal candidate will be adept at managing multiple priorities, tracking deliverables, and communicating effectively with business partners and stakeholders to ensure policy requirements are met. The candidate must possess: Completed appreciation of how the introduction of new and/or changes to existing regulations, processes, systems, controls and infrastructure may impact the business The ability to work independently Project management skills Effective communication and presentation skills Responsibilities: Work closely with business partners on findings resulting from control execution Work with business on data and contract collection Serve as a point of contact for the business and respond to inquiries regarding the requirements of the third-party management policy. Manage the end-to-end process for internal contract creation, including submission, tracking, and performing follow-ups to ensure timely completion.

Support the uplift activities of internal services across the Markets division. Monitor cross-border data submissions and related activities. Provide regular status updates to stakeholders on the progress of third-party onboarding activities.

Follow up with stakeholders on the status of key deliverables to prevent delays. Collate data and generate presentations to senior management Qualifications 4+ years of experience in Operational Risk, Business Controls, Audit, or a related function within the financial services industry. Understanding of Third Party Risk Management principles; experience with regulatory projects Understanding of Markets businesses/products preferred, including knowledge of engagements with Broker Dealers and Financial Market Infrastructure relationships.

Excellent organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple deliverables and meet deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders. Strong Project Management skills Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.

Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., MS Excel) is preferred.
