Position Overview:
Sutter Health is seeking a BE/BC Outpatient Internal Medicine Physician to join our collegial and dedicated team at Sutter Lakeside Outpatient Clinic, located in the beautiful mountain ranges of Lake County. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a supportive, patient centered environment with a strong emphasis on quality care and work life balance.
Job Description:
Key Responsibility
• Provide comprehensive primary care to adult patients in an outpatient clinic setting.
• Perform routine and chronic disease management (e.g., hypertension, diabetes, COPD, heart disease).
• Conduct physical exams, preventive care, and wellness visits.
• Diagnose and treat acute medical conditions commonly seen in an ambulatory setting.
• Order, interpret, and follow up on labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies.
• Develop individualized care plans based on patient needs and evidence-based guidelines.
• Manage medication therapy, refills, and adjustments.
Experience
  • Five (5) years of recent, relevant clinical experience preferred

Certification & Licensure
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiology
  • Eligible for California medical licensure
  • DEA registration
  • BLS and ACLS certification required
  • Additional certifications (PALS, NRP) as required by department policy

Pay Range is $261,996.80 to $376,001.60 / annual salary
The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health's comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
