Position Overview:

Designs and implements the strategic and ongoing development in a defined geographic area to provide health care programs and other services to the vulnerable populations as identified through the operating units Community Health Needs Assessment. Manages multiple projects and resources to include leading and securing funds for community health programs/initiatives, and coordinating and managing all community benefit activities in alignment with system and operating unit goals, and the system External Affairs organization in a defined geographic area that advance the Sutter's community based, not-for-profit mission.
Develops and maintains relationships with key community and business leaders, across various communities and issue areas, and identifies potential collaborative partners/efforts aimed to positively impact the community. Identifies, plans, coordinates, implements, monitors and evaluates effective community programs and direct service partnerships that aim to improve community health, support the under-served and advance Sutter Health's reputation in the community and not-for-profit mission.
Manages the active engagement of program implementation, assists with budget development, as well as program evaluation within the assigned geography. Manages a team of Coordinators and/or Analyst in the delivery of the programs in the assigned geography.

Job Description:

The candidate should live within the footprint of : East Bay (Alameda, Contra Costa, and West Solano Counties)
EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
Bachelor's: Public Policy, Public Health or Public Administration, or a related field
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:


8 years recent relevant experience
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Must be ale to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Must have a significant understanding of community-based organizations and local and statewide Foundations and government agencies.
Knowledge of public relations and event coordination.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook software.
Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication.
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal direction.
Demonstrated ability to effectively work with executives and senior management teams.

Pay Range is $130,416.00 to $195,624.00 / annual salary

The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health's comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
