About GoodLeap:
GoodLeap is a technology company delivering best-in-class financing and software products for sustainable solutions, from solar panels and batteries to energy-efficient HVAC, heat pumps, roofing, windows, and more. Over 1 million homeowners have benefited from our simple, fast, and frictionless technology that makes the adoption of these products more affordable, accessible, and easier to understand. Thousands of professionals deploying home efficiency and solar solutions rely on GoodLeap's proprietary, AI-powered applications and developer tools to drive more transparent customer communication, deeper business intelligence, and streamlined payment and operations. Our platform has led to more than $30 billion in financing for sustainable solutions since 2018.

GoodLeap is also proud to support our award-winning nonprofit, GivePower, which is building and deploying life-saving water and clean electricity systems, changing the lives of more than 1.6 million people across Africa, Asia, and South America.

The Senior Associate, Strategic Initiatives is a high-impact, high-visibility role on GoodLeap's Strategy & Corporate Development team, based in our West Palm Beach office. Operating at the intersection of strategy, corporate development, finance, and fintech innovation, this individual will help shape the enterprise agenda across GoodLeap's point-of-sale lending platform, payments solutions, capital markets, and sustainable home solutions ecosystem. The Senior Associate will structure and solve ambiguous, high-stakes business problems using hypothesis-driven approaches, build rigorous analyses and financial models, and translate insights into crisp, executive-ready recommendations delivered directly to the C-Suite. Recommendations are only the starting point: this role supports execution end-to-end - converting strategy into actionable implementation plans, driving initiatives through delivery, and measuring realized value against the business case. The role offers exceptional senior leadership exposure, a steep professional development curve, and the opportunity to work alongside a talented team of former consultants, bankers, and operators.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Structure and drive hypothesis-driven analysis of ambiguous, high-priority strategic questions - market sizing, competitive and industry intelligence across fintech and point-of-sale lending, growth strategy, and margin analysis - building financial models and scenario analyses that increase value realization across the enterprise
  • Develop executive-ready deliverables (C-Suite presentations, board materials, investment memos) and present findings and recommendations directly to senior leadership
  • Support corporate development activities, including M&A and partnership screening, due diligence, valuation analysis, and integration planning
  • Lead cross-functional workstreams with Finance, Product, Engineering, Capital Markets, Underwriting, Business Development, and Operations to drive strategic initiatives from insight through implementation, tracking realized value against the business case
  • Partner with Technology leadership to assess and optimize enterprise technology architecture - rationalizing the application portfolio, evaluating build/buy/partner decisions, and identifying cost and efficiency opportunities
  • Support the enterprise modernization agenda, shaping roadmaps for AI enablement, automation, and platform consolidation that improve margin, scalability, and speed to market
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Analytics, or a related field required
  • Master's degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in strategy consulting (e.g., MBB, Accenture, or Big Four), investment banking, private equity, corporate strategy, or a high-growth fintech
  • Exceptional structured problem-solving skills; able to break down ambiguous problems, form hypotheses, and drive to actionable answers with incomplete information
  • Advanced financial modeling and analytical toolkit; expert in Excel and PowerPoint, with proficiency in Artificial Intelligence (e.g., Claude) for analysis, modeling, and deliverable development (SQL, Tableau/Power BI a plus)
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication; able to craft clear, compelling executive narratives and present with confidence and poise to C-Suite audiences
  • Working knowledge of fintech and lending fundamentals - unit economics, credit performance, capital markets, and point-of-sale finance - or demonstrated ability to ramp quickly
  • High ownership, intellectual curiosity, and bias for action; thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where priorities evolve
  • Low-ego, collaborative teammate who raises the bar of a talented Strategy & Corporate Development team
  • Discretion and sound judgment handling confidential corporate, financial, and M&A information
Compensation: $132,000-$179,000 annually, plus bonus
