CRA's Knoxville, Tennessee office seeks Field Technicians for a large linear archaeological survey in multiple East Tennessee Counties. The project is scheduled to begin on October 27, 2021. Archaeological technicians with regional (i.e. Southeast) experience is preferred. Experience in Tennessee is desirable. The qualified candidate must have a bachelor's degree in Anthropology and a minimum of 6 months of experience conducting archaeological survey. Candidate should have completed an archaeological field school. It is imperative that the candidate be able to work 8 to 10 hour days (or longer if necessary) in a variety of conditions. Stooping, bending and lifting are essential functions of this position. Compensation is $18.00-$19.00 per hour. Per diem will be $50 per day with single lodging provided. The work schedule will consist of 10-day field sessions followed by four consecutive days off. No lodging will be provided on off days in between field sessions. Six separate 10-day field sessions are anticipated.

Cultural Resource Analysts, Inc. employees are required to undergo a background check that includes driving history. This project will require a standard 5 Panel drug test for all employees prior to fieldwork. In addition, all employees must present documentation proving that they are FULLY VACCINATED for COVID-19.
