We are seeking Survey Crew Chief I and II candidates with field-survey experience who enjoy working outdoors, using modern surveying equipment and software, and supporting a variety of civil engineering and land-surveying projects.With a 3-10 year experience range, this opportunity can fit an experienced field surveyor who is ready to continue developing technical and crew-lead responsibilities within a collaborative Wisconsin engineering and surveying firm.Why Join Lynch & Associates? Use surveying equipment and survey software to gather field information for certified survey maps, plats of survey, topographic surveys, construction layout and staking. Perform field surveying and construction staking services. Perform construction observation services when needed. Communicate with project teams across Lynch & Associates offices. Provide limited direction to staff on project-specific tasks and limited communication with clients, peers and agencies. Work outdoors in varying weather and terrain and provide overtime when necessary to meet project deadlines.What We're Looking For 3-10 years of relevant surveying experience. Associate degree plus 2 or more years of experience, or comparable work experience. Working knowledge of surveying equipment, survey software and field-survey procedures. Experience with topographic surveys, construction layout/staking, certified survey maps and/or plats of survey is highly valuable. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to meet Lynch & Associates automotive-insurability requirements.
