Job description

Surgical Technologist โ€“ Sign-On Bonus Included! Join the Operating Room team as a Surgical Technologist. This role focuses on assisting with operative procedures, maintaining sterile technique, and supporting patient care during surgical cases. Responsibilities Apply principles of disinfection and sterilization. Assist with clean-up and case turnover between surgeries. Verify the operative procedure being performed. Demonstrate knowledge of basic aseptic techniques. Demonstrate knowledge of patient identification. Handle, identify, and deliver all specimens, cultures, implantable devices, and homografts. Operate and maintain equipment according to manufacturer instructions and policies. Operate flash sterilizer and Steris sterilizer. Participate in the evaluation of the patient care delivery system. Scrub all operative procedures performed. Seek assistance when a situation is beyond the ORT/LPN's knowledge and experience. Takes call as scheduled. Utilize surgeon preference card and case cart pick list to competently prepare for operative procedures. Requirements Associate's Degree (Required) or High School diploma (Required). BLS or CPR certification within 90 days of hire. CST certification required. Compensation Pay: $29.08 - $45.07 per hour, based on experience. Signโ€On bonus up to $10,000.
