Surgical Technologist - Certified Scrub Tech
We are seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join a dynamic surgical team within a large healthcare system in South Carolina. In this role, you will assist surgeons during complex procedures and major surgeries, ensuring the success of each operation and contributing to the best possible patient outcomes.
Pay: $58,984 - $84,513
Schedule: Days or Nights
Key Responsibilities:
  • Position patients for procedures, assist with wound dressing, and safely transport them to and from the operating room
  • Communicate surgeon preferences and patient needs to the surgical team
  • Help the surgeon apply surgical techniques while providing essential intraoperative support
  • Implement safety measures before, during, and after surgery, ensuring sterility and preventing complications such as bleeding
  • Select surgical equipment, restock supplies, and clean and sterilize instruments as needed
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
  • Surgical Technologist Certification (CST)
  • License to work as a Surgical Assistant
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
