  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, supplies, and equipment according to infection-control and aseptic-technique standards.
  • Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and efficiently pass instruments, manage suction, and maintain a well-organized surgical field.
  • Assist the clinical team with monitoring patients undergoing sedation.
  • Monitor and document vital signs and help assess patientsโ€™ readiness for procedures.
  • Provide compassionate support and reassurance to patients before, during, and after treatment.
  • Assist with pediatric patients when applicable, helping create a comfortable and positive experience.
  • Take intraoral and extraoral dental X-rays and assist with advanced imaging, including 3D scanning technology, as needed.
  • Accurately document and update patient information using practice-management software while maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
  • Clean, disinfect, sterilize, and maintain instruments and equipment in accordance with established infection-prevention protocols.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully prepared clinical environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the entire dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and exceptional care.

What Weโ€™re Looking For

  • Previous experience as a Dental Assistant, Oral Surgery Assistant, Medical Assistant, or in a related clinical patient-care role.
  • Dental assisting experience is preferred; experience in oral surgery or general dentistry is a plus.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
  • Experience with chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry.
  • Familiarity with dental X-rays and advanced dental imaging, including 3D scanners, preferred.
  • Knowledge of instrument processing, sterilization, infection prevention, and aseptic technique.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A compassionate, professional approach to working with patients of all ages.
  • Ability to remain calm, organized, and focused in a fast-paced surgical environment.
  • Dependable, positive, and willing to be an active member of a collaborative team.

Why Join Us?
