Job description

Orthopedic Hand Surgery opening in State College, PAArea is surrounded by state parksLocated 140 miles from Pittsburgh; 170 miles from Baltimore, MDPosition Details:

  • Full-time, permanent
  • Candidates must be BC/BE
  • Stable multi-specialty group
  • Join a seven-physician, hospital-employed practice and are seeking an Orthopedic Hand Surgeon.
  • 260-bed, community-based, not-for-profit, health system.
  • The current outpatient clinic is conveniently located 4.8 miles from the hospitals campus, and will be moving to a new state-of-the-art outpatient medical center in 2024. The physician will be provided a robust recruitment package.
  • Seven Physicians
  • 4 very experienced PA-Cs
  • Collegial team environment and excellent support staff
  • Shared call is 1:6 with one other Orthopedic Surgery group- Penn State Health
  • Clinic and OR rotation with dedicated block time
  • EMR: Meditech Expanse
  • 3 dedicated x-ray suites with state-of-the-art x-ray equipment
  • Compensation Package:
  • $100k Sign-on bonus
